LaQuel Skeete, a native of New York City, has had a passion for hair since the age of 5. As a master cosmetologist and licensed educator, she has been dedicated to the world of hair. From early beginnings of doing hair and selling extensions in her youth, LaQuel pursued further education in cosmetology in 2015.

In 2017, she began mentoring braiders and stylists, eventually launching her mentorship program, Braid With Me, to help others refine their skills. Her journey continued with attending Paul Mitchell Cosmetology Educator/Instructor School in 2020, leading to the acquisition of her instructor license.

LaQuel soon ventured into creating her own extension line, crafting wigs, and providing medical wig services. By 2023, she relocated to Elpaso, establishing her first suite and expanding her clientele to open her salon, Inventionshair Collection. Her story is a testament to her dedication and innovation in the world of hair.
